It contains complete and updated contacts of over 23,000 associations constituted under the Non-for-profit Entities Act, as well as a list of over 4,500 foundations working in the public benefit. The website provides information about the governing structures and program activities of nearly 200 entities in the Bulgarian NGO sector.

* Throughout OPEN-BG.NET and its databases the frequently used and widely recognizable terms nonprofit and NGO are applied instead of the legally more accurate non-for-profit entities. OPEN-BG.NET is exclusively about foundations and associations constituted under the Non-for-profit Entities Act.
